I had just decided that this little shindig was worth the 6 hour drive. I asked the boss if she'd like to come along...

"You mean the same August 13th that my family from Michigan AND Colorado will be here for an impromptu family reunion?"

Hope you guys have a great time up there. I'll see some of you in September and others in November. Travel safe and take care.

Let's commit to the Cove Lake camping area for at least Friday night, leaving the door open for a move to the top of the mountain on Saturday. On one hand, we have a lake for swimming, paddling, etc, and on the other, higher altitude. Choices, choices...

Would everyone please pm me your cell numbers? I will respond with mine, so that in the event we move, all can be informed.

Smoke and I will both be bringing small generators and fans, so I think we can be reasonably comfy.

Sure wish I could make that hang, alas a 12 hour drive is a bit much. The 13th, full moon, meteors, and the day I enter my last year as a 50 something. A big day. I hope to be paddling down the Manistee in northern Michigan with Fin and some other good folks. I will be thinking of you all. OG, we gotta hang together sometime. Specially with that blender!!
