    Warbonnet ?

I'm fixing to order a WB and not sure which suspension to order. I will be changing it out to use Whoopie Slings when it arrives.
If I order the adujustable webbing, I get a 14 foot length of webbing with a loop on one end and of course the adjusting buckle on the other end. If I order the Line/Strap suspension, it appears it is quite a bit shorter but it has a loop on one end and rings on the other end.
I will be using the Toggle system, so I am thinking I will not need a loop on both ends
I have searched the forums as to what length most use on suspension with the webbing and can see the benefits both ways as to shorter and longer, depending on the trees.
I placed an order today for 8 foot whoopie's, if that makes a difference.
Waiting on the professionals : you long time hangers to help me make this decision, so I can get my Tarp/Hammock ordered.
Thanks in advance and looking forward to your replys

    You can always get both.

I don't have a WB but it sounds like neither is the right answer. If you're using whoopies then you don't need a ring buckle solution and since you'll be using a toggle you won't have any use for the ring at the end of the line/strap suspension. Of course I'd probably do the latter and just cut the ring off.

Jaxhiker, that is what I am thinking also. I figure I can always just run the webbing through one loop of the webbing (to go around the tree), or use a Dutch Clip for a little better ease and the other part of strap needs nothing, since I am using a Toggle.
So I am goin to have buckles left over, or rings/line.

Just don't know if I need the 14 foot of webbing versus's what comes on the line/strap suspension which looks like maybe 6-8 feet. Guess I could always cut some off the 14, if I see i don't use it.
Mite be able to find a use for the buckles at a later date tho

I use Dutch Clips with my BB. Makes for a very fast easy set up. (and I like fast and easy) Takes me under 60 seconds to hang my hammock. Pull the head end strap out of the bag and wrap around the tree and slip Dutch Clip over strap, pull tight, repeat at other end and then adjust straps as/if needed.

Gunner, I really like the way the Dutch Clip works and will prob be ordering those as well. Didn't see them on Dutch's site but found them somewhere else. I guess the 1" inch is what I need with the WB webbing?

    Exactly my setup.

Loneoak, if you do buy the WBBB and get the straps and still want to swap them out, you could always go back to the webbing which is exactly what I did. I'll be ordering Brandon's webbing/cinch buckles for my other hammocks due to the ease of use and I'm not a gram weenie. Yet.

I'm not as fast as gunner but it sure is quick and easy.

Syb, I can see where this habit is goin to lead to yet another hammock and I could use the buckles for it.

Dutch Clips are sold by Jacks R Better http://www.jacksrbetter.com/index.htm. I use them on all my hammocks. I use the 1" Clip on all my hammocks as all my straps are 1". I try and keep everything the same on my rigs for easy change out if I have to swap gear.

I am not a gram weenie either. I would rather carry a few extra ounces/grams and be comfortable and have an easy set up with my gear than save a few ounces and be miserable.
