Probably can't do much about timinghawaii's plight but how about some kind of blacklist to keep members informed about these real crooks? Not your lost shipment type situations but ones that can be verified as lilricky did here? Or would that being up legal issues?

On another forum I'm on, since theres alot of expensive parts being sold, so theres a $&!+ list thread with things like this in it, like ebay feedback of a sort.hate to think that we'd need one here, but rather it be for vendors and not members.

+1 on dispute the charges. It has worked for me.

    Hello Bubby,

I work for the fraud department for a online Casino. I deal with chargbacks all the time.

If you paid by card go to your bank and tell them you want to make a chargeback on the grounds of non Receipt of goods. The Problem could be the time scale as you normal have 120 days to file , after that they will not do it.

you might not be able to get you$ back but maybe you can get a public castration?

im sure you can talk to the BBB, if they got an F and it was known to them about the blatant lack of respect for law by this guy, and they still alow his website to go unhindered.....that in itself is unlawful, hypothetically what if the account is just a direct deposit to a swiss bank account? then nce he gets out in x# of years, he will have plenty of money from people who use the internet. im not that learned but that has to be a violation. but if i was grimey its what i would do..... anyway. if the BBB is there just to grade buisiness then why is it there? thats tax dollars at work isnt it? rah!

by public castration i mean him not you......just to clarify

also: just played around with the BBB website for about 30 min........ they are useless. for your website problem they couldnt process the complaint i was going to issue on your behalf, but they had it in their database as an "f". then just for good measure i tried to report a complaint on a microbrewery i know had a sexual discrimination/checks bouncing issue. they refered me to the real govt websites. this frustrates me to no end....

SOBs charged $100 for each hammock. Even if the OP received them he would have been ripped off.

    IMPORTANT point on this note:
Definitely do the chargeback! and do it now! Don't let the company stall you. You have just 60 days from the day you clicked the send order button to dispute a claim not 120. And do it in writing. Calling or email means nothing.
I'd hate to see you run out of time.
    Good luck!

it has been brought to my attention that a transaction has been placed by a junior sailor of mine. now as stated from him he ordered two 1965(ish) hammocks approx 3 months ago.
i would like to hear your side of the story as to why his money was accepted but your services werent rendered.
you have one week before i take your non response as an admission of guilt and report you to the better buisiness bureau.
    thank you for your time.

    right on brother!
