    My experience with the hammockfolk......

I think I'm up to 15 or 16 group hangs now post this weekends event. I've seen a lot of different country though mostly in the south but I was thinking of how many of us I've met and how is it that good people hang in hammocks. For years I've generally felt that good people backpack but even gooder people hang! So maybe I've met 75 or a hundred and in that number (granted a small n for you chi square types) there is not one that I wouldn't want to hike/hike/bike/paddle with again.....I bet the feeling is not mutual and I'm OK with that HA! but I did want to share the observation now proven to me over and over again that if I see a car on the side of the road with the HF Sun/Hammock logo decal I'm going to stop and help change a tire

Dittos. I just did my first hang and met some great people. Perhaps a HF decal on the car is good idea.

So far IRL I have been the only hanger in my group of backpackers. But I am the bomb diggity. xP Would love to join in on a hang. Unfortunately when the Jersey hang happens I have been in Maine for a few months and then some. Some day it will happen though. I know it will be a great time because everyone I have conversed with here on the forums have been amazing people.

Hmmm, I don't have AAA, so I guess I will just get an HF sticker. Much better.

Just ordered a decal (which should leave 46 left) and a buff. Good thing I'm not impulsive.

Being that I have only been on one group hang (Roan Mt. Feburary 2011) everyone that I met that weekend I would for sure hang with again. I am usually a solo hanger but after going on the group hang and meeting up with like minded folks I believe I could handle a few more hangs. I consider the Hammockforums community family. MedicineMan I would hang with you anytime as long as its below freezing,at least 30 mph winds and above 6000ft...
