    Camping while traveling for business

    Hi Everyone,

I do a lot of traveling for work and i'm considering doing some camping instead of staying in hotels. Just curious about others experience with this.

Sounds like fun...just stay away from the campfires...you will smell like smoke!

Heck yeah. I used my per diem money and bought a site for the week.
Check your areas for the smaller ma and pa campgrounds, often they would reduce rates (considerably) for weekday campers and only had full occupancy on the weekends (when I went home). Some campgrounds had full amenities, hot showers, a fishing/swimming lake, and were only minutes from the campsite.

State parks had stiffer rules and I found the little privately owned campgrounds to suit my needs better.

I brought the family along too on several out of town jobs. As long as they weren't in school.
    Ambulo tua ambulo.
