    what did it cost to make this tarp? all materials other than stove.

    Nice job there. We live not too far from there in far north east Texas...maybe we can hook up and hang/hike up there some time.

    To me its just fun to make something... I considered making it out of something else, but I do alot of bow hunting and backpack in so I needed it light. If I was sleding it, I may have a different design. I can tell u at cold temps the small stove does well with this size, if the shelter was any larger u would need a larger stove like Turk has..

    Cost,,, more than I wanted to give... The black is about 28', gray is 15' and supports are dyneema with lots of tieouts and D-rings.

    welcome to go with us anytime... we are having a hang Aug 13 on Mt Magazine and normally have a Ozark Hang in March...

    As soon as I get some crap together I would love too. We did Boy Scout summer camp south of Mena..sure was pretty up there. Boys hiked to the Queen Willimina lodge...sure was a tough one.
