    Hey all from Iowa

So I don't even camp that much. In fact last time I found the time was Memorial Day weekend the past two years in a row. I saw a few people hammock camping 2 years ago and it's been in the back of my mind since.

When I have been camping recently or otherwise I'm always finding myself in a corner or bottom of the tent regardless of how level the site seems. Never sleep well and probably part of the reason I don't actually get out as much as I would like.

I'll constantly be looking at gear and trying to find the time to even plan a camping trip but it never seems to work out. A friend of mine turned me on to a closeout deal at a local Gander Mtn for the ENO Double Nest specifically Navy/Yellow. Picked it up for $29.99

Long story short I love the deal I got and can't wait to actually try it out. I've already got some climbing webbing (tubular) on the way for my own straps as well as some Camp USA Nano 23 biner's. Looking at a MacCat Deluxe tarp next (unless anyone can suggest something else) and getting into the great outdoors again.

Welcome Noodle. I like the whoopie straps on my ENOs. You don't have to go on an overnighter - I often hang for an hour or two when I take my kids to the park or the river. The hammock makes a great chair too.

Welcome aboard from Florida. You don't have to camp to hang. As you study the Forum you'll find people hanging from everything and everywhere. I hang in mine every night now.

    Welcome Noodle.

Nobody has mentioned it yet, but you really don't want to use climbing webbing for straps. It is designed to stretch and your butt will be on the ground by morning. You want to use polyester webbing. There are numerous threads discussing webbing. Good luck.
