If you find that the detached net isn't for you, then you can always try a zippered one. Not so easy the other way around.

I'm about to make another one. This time out of some fine tulle I picked up at Walmart. Not sure it will keep noseeums out though. Am also considering reinforcing the short edges with grosgrain and using a button as the closure this time.
