Looking nice! I too prefer a low set up. Especially since I'm a shorter guy. What kind of tarp is that?

All I would add is a couple of dynaglide whoopies, use 4'-5' huggers depending on the size of trees where you plan on hanging. attach a couple dutch clips and dutch biners. change the trap suspension to a continuous ridgeline using zingit, with some continuous loops for prusiks (i like them out of dynaglide). tie that off with Tarp Flyz and a Dutchhook. As for the hammock, whatever is comfortable to you is the best to use. as long as weight doesnt become an issue. Most important, enjoy it.

    You have two trees

Hey looks good. At least you have two trees. I only have one and may have to wrap around a barbecue pit chimney in the back yard as one tree.

I have an ENO double and like the adjustable ridge line for a number of reasons.
    - First, it provides a consistent sag (but the 30 degree strap angle is important regardless of ridge line).
    - Next, I have the ridge line attached with a Dutch Biner so it can be removed during day (for seat mode). But at night, the ridge line provides a place to hang gear and supports the bug net.
    - Lastly, the ridge line lets me pull up on it to get out of the hammock which can be helpful.

The only addition (aside from tarp, and you knew that) is a foot pad / floor of some sort. I like to take my shoes off before getting in my hammock and a little ground pad helps make that comfortable.

What is the length on your ridgeline ericfromportland? just curious. And i can see where the foot pad would come in pretty handy. I too, would rather take my shoes off before getting in my hammock. What kind of tarp and bug net do you use?

For an ENO ridgeline, I liked mine with a pretty good amount of sag in it (start with 100 inches and go from there), like a nice smiley face. It will definetely make the ENO more comfortable. Having an ENO strung tight is not good, the more sag the better, and be sure to lay diagonally once you get the sag in. Also never mind the floppy sides, they are useless, and I actually cut mine off.

Yeah i think i had mine a little tight on my first overnight trip, ill have to play with it a little and see. Definitely was laying diagonal, but still had some curve, and would have been more comfortable laying a little flatter. And i thought the extra material was slightly annoying, until i found a way to prop my head up on it. but i may end up cutting it off. Thanks for the info man. do you still use your eno?
