I just got a damaged byer and nylon is worn through on the sleeve where the cordage goes through the hammock.
What do you folks think is the best fix for it?
I think I'm gonna just stitch some nylon webbing in place of the sleeve and call it fixed but I'm open for suggestions
Do you mean the end channel? You can bunch it up and tie some suspension cordage like amsteel around the gathered end below the bump created by the stitching.

Do you mean where the strings attach to the hammock? If so, I like your webbing idea. Just make sure to double-stitch with good thread!
