    Wbbb 1.0?

Is Brandon not selling the 1.0's anymore? I don't see them on the website.

He has not offered then for awhile. My wife has one (coyote brown) and I told her I bet I could sell her hammock real fast on the forum and she told me in no uncertain terms what would happen if I sold her hammock.

Is it polite to ask why not? I was looking to get one for my ten year old nephew. With his size an weight it would be perfect. My son has one, but I think it's a little light for me at 190#. The double bottom is what I want for him because he will be starting off with a pad.

is there so much difference between 1.0 material and the 1.1 material that _is_ offered? Raw cut on these is said to be 120" x 65", that's 6 square yards, so all other things being equal, the weight difference between 1.0 material and 1.1 is... 0.6 oz (if those weights are accurate, but typically they aren't). Or is the difference between the two larger???

I believe the 1.1 has a higher weight rating than the old 1.0. Other than that the size of the BB are the same.

Price was the big difference. The 1.0 was in the low $100's (think $130)and the 1.1 is $175. I know it was made overseas so the labor was cheaper. It would be his first hammock and I like the features of the BB. I'll also keep my eye out for other used netted hammocks. His Daddy doesn't want to spend too much and the one man tent they share is starting to get small. The boy is drooling over my son and I in hammocks.

The weight for the dbl 1.0 is 1oz less than the 1.1dbl as Brandon said. The 1.0 dbl was only $130 because that was the model that was outcourced and made in China. When he had an american made 1.0 dbl is was going for $160, the same as the single layers. I'd imagine if he ever brings it back it will probably be that cost or more. I'd just save the extra $30 and get him a single layer. If you're interested I'd sell you mine with 6 nights on it (I believe) for $130 shipped. Just PM me if interested or have any quesions.
