    Introduction: smart outdoors hammock gear

Some of you may know, some of you may not but I like to tinker and make things. I started out working on an idea to better the marlyn spike with the help of Kevin and we refined that into the elephant trunk. We also were working on an idea a while back for crl's, shelved it for a bit and then just recently gave a bunch away. http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=35871

I'm not here to make a living but I wanted to offer some of the gear that I've made for others and also help support other vendors by me turning around and buying their gear. I'm currently supporting my wife while we get her business up and running and hopefully she'll be able to chase her dream. In doing so, we made an agreement that I could keep to my gear addiction if I found means to support it and not affect things. More of less, anything made will help fund new gear related projects and also help other vendors as anything bought for hammocks is done through our HF vendor list for me.

So what am I offering? Elephant trunks, tarp keys, tarp crosses, tree straps and whoopie slings. The straps and slings may go, may not,...just depends. I'm allow 5 items so I put them there.

What I will do for hammockforums:

    - any vendor that wants something, 20% off and just PM me
    - I'll always donate personally and my site will match it as long as it's funded
    - if there is a group hang and raffle items are need, let me know if I haven't already offered.
    - if the mod's want something no problem, most already have ET's

So hopefully the site is welcomed, some things move, I'm able to get a winter TQ, everyone is happy and we all hang.

    Thanks,

    Patrick

Good luck Patrick. I hop your wife gets this off the ground.

To those that don't know him, I'd like to say I've only had a couple of interactions with Patrick but he is a solid guy so no worries ordering his gear.

Nice. Good to see you are still producing. I like my elephant trunks a lot better than the marlin spike.

    Good luck.
