I don't really think we need another poll. We first need to find out what trail we are hitting and then we can pick a section from there. I vote the SHT. There are tons of places on there with some pretty sweet lookouts to really enjoy those fall colors.
You can leave whenever you want to get there. I think a lot of people will be leaving after work on Friday. But, there are plenty of parking lots and a small hike to meet up with the group. We can make it work for whatever time people want to get out there.

What about the Ice Age Trail, but up for anything
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Anywhere on the SHT would be great. Manitou State Park is Beautiful in October. Very few people, Great fishing for Splake. Tasty little critters!
Any other ideas...so far two Ice Age, SHT

Okay SHT sounds like the choice...what section of the trail would we like to do

The SHT sounds awesome to me as well.
What are your thoughts about doing some hiking? I personally would like to get in some miles and it would be more fun to be at a different spot to camp everyday. Also, how many miles do people feel comfortable doing as well?
