Guy lines for superfly

I noticed the superfly does not have any guy lines.
Any suggestions as to length, style, etc in making them?

I used 8 ft lengths of zing-it for my tie outs. They have a surgical tubing self-tensioner at the tarp's edge, then the zing-it goes thru a camlock. I put a small eye splice in the end for the stake. I used the same method on all of the edge tie outs including the doors, and I used 8 ft lengths of shock cord for the panel pulls. My set up is very similar to this.

I am fairly new to this myself, but I have had pretty good luck with Kelty's Triptease and bungee self tensioners.

I have 10' speer no Tangle sections each corner thru a prusic attach to tarp corners the side pulls 10' speer No tangle attached to a 6 " loop of shock cord.

Many people feel you should have a guy line that would break in high winds *before* your tarp tears.

I've tested Zing It and Lash It on my tarp in 45MPH winds on my deck, and the S-biner on my ridge line (#2 I think) bent open before the tarp tore.

So while I agree that I'd rather replace a $1 guy line setup vs a $100+ tarp, I feel it would take a lot to wreck a well made tarp...and I'd honestly just sew any damage up and not worry about it.

with 6-10 ft of zing it that has a locked brummel (fixed) eye to attach to the stake.

Thanks for reminding me guys. I'll be out Tuesday night through Monday. Got the tarp lined out last night, well, for use on my stand. When not using the stand I'll swap to a continuous ridgeline with Prussics.

Do you guys run a full ridge line or two separate lines as shown in the warbonnet video?

Continuous ridge of Zing it. Zing it tie outs with self tensioners, like the ones on whoopieslings.com. Doors are held open or closed with shock cord.
