    It would have been more of a summer quilt but I had no way of weighing down, so I just stuffed each chamber with one bag of down. Now that I know more like I know what I'm doing, more sophisticated quilts are coming.

    definitely cheaper, but the fact that its made by yourself makes it worth more.

    I like the idea of the silicone seam sealer. You think that would help prevent the edged from fraying???

    No, to prevent fraying there are two things I do. Usually on most projects I roll the edged over twice and sew, or you can hold the edges over a candle and just slightly melt the edges. Be careful though as this nylon stuff burns REAL easy.
