ironically ive had an idea where i used a longboard and a pole with a cheap like, GTUL hammock as a sail. solid mount it on the top, and put the bottom on a sliding ring (so you can raise and lower, tighten etc) so you can move it to adjust speed. not going to try it this weekend but is an idea.

Just use a skateboard, you can actually steer with it. As for the sail, used a couple heavy duty trash bags and attached them to some 1x2s. If you want to go slower, just lower the sail, faster... raise it up. You did however just give me an awesome idea for extreme hammocking. That hat shall be mine!

Aw, if I ever had the pic from years ago when I was building Rope Courses... after installing a zip line, we had to test it... decided to rig an hammock on two pulleys and using a long branch as a ridgeline to keep the hammock apart. Clip in, climb in and zip away!

HAHA! I would love to see that. I don't know if I would have enjoyed that ride though.

I found this equipment shed at a snow park, no one around. I thought about hanging but it was too early in the day.

WAIT JUST A MINUTE..... you used PAPER instead of sticks for your toggles????
That alone is extreme in my book. AWESOME!!!!!
