I was wondering what the least amount of space is to hang an eno hammock in my dorm room. I can set it up under my lofted bed, but its only about 7 feet long, do you think thats enough room?

I have been debating this very thing (except with a DIY instead of an ENO). If I decide to use the space underneath the bed (who needs a desk anyway), I will have to hang diagonally to get some extra length.
I'd say try it and find out!
You could probably hang it with 7' feet but I don't know how comfortable it would be. I think 9-10' would be a lot better.

I wonder if an extra wide hammock would work, if at one end you did the trick I read here used by Youngblood to attach the cord with a double sheet bend. That is, shorten up the hammock by tying the suspension further down the body. The extra width might let you get a diagonal.
Oh well, not an experiment I'm going to try...my dorm days are long long ago.
