    Support Backing material?

When you make your tarp, what material do you use as backing or support for the tieout spots. Do you use another small patch of the same tarp material or do you use a heavier material. Talking about the corners and side tieouts. Saw Shugs video and he had some small round extra supports on his side tieouts but couldn't tell.

I bought Oxford from Back Woods Daydreamer, that worked fine for mine. A little heavier that the ripstop silnylon.

I simply use two layers of the tarp material so that it is triple thick at the tie-outs.
That's been silnylon 1.1 (1.4 after coating) or spinnaker. Someday, I hope it will be cuben
