I had the killer "man flu" a few weeks back. It went something like this:

Oh you know how to make a bloke really feel like he missed something mate From all accounts thus far it sounds like it was another great edition in the portfolio.

I have to say you have got the UQ looking real pretty. The camp site looks great and just check out that fire! With the headlamp note it sounds like some nice red was taken in. I do note a bit of a trend with our group and kitchen wear not making though?

Thanks for the vid. I’m still stinging to get out on this hang so image how bad I’ll hang for the next!

We missed not having you there mate, especially as you deserve the credit for posting the event in the first place. I trust it was nothing serious and all is well.

Yes, the Te-Wa UQ fit my new HH Hyperlite like a glove. No slipping, air gaps or cold spots. It clips directly to existing hammock fastener clips so attaching it is a quick and easy affair. Marwood mentioned it hit +5.1'C overnight, and I was nice and warm. Very happy with it

Ordered a Warbonnet Edge tarp today, so I'm going for the full Hennessy/Warbonnet/Te-Wa Hybrid on my next trip!

The weather was kind for almost the entire weekend, although the Canoe trip back to Mooney Mooney got a bit hairy during the last hour or so, as we paddled right through a torrential thunderstorm and we had to stop for a short while as Phrayzar bailed out water....an experience!

You're right, a few glasses of wine were sunk around the camp fire. Helped wash down the prawn kebabs from Mr & Mrs Marwood! The pommie contingent put in an outstanding curry effort with Phrayzar, Jez and myself giving it the full Indian. (Incl. Poppadoms from Jezzers Tardis-like backpack).

Look forward to the next one!

PS - You might also want to download and watch a movie called 'Withnail & I' before our next group hang....just a thought

Yeah we missed you Lepmeister. On the way back from the hang we could see the rain coming however we only got a few drops, some impressive cracks of thunder and could see the rain falling over the campsite behind us. Am sure Marwood and I will be out on the trails within the next few weeks as the call to hang is strong. Look forward to next time lads.

While we were sitting around the fire, someone asked me about where I got the hammock forums flag, and I didn't give a proper answer. So here's the link: http://www.dwflags.com/store/view_pr...=HammockForums.

From memory, it took about 5-6 weeks to get delivered.
