Women are fascinated by men who can sew....
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Don't know why that struck me so funny, it might be too close to home!

And, Caleath, the "I am well rounded" story is the one I'm sticking with. I shoot well, cook decently, can build stuff in wood or metal, can diaper a baby, plan a defense, argue logical positions, teach people how to use a computer, survive in the wild, discuss history/religion/space travel/geography. Now I can sew too. Specialization is for insects!

Luv it. Hancock lady calls me Hammock dude now, she'll actually take me to the clearance bin if she knows some good Ripstop or Camo is lurking. She still doesn't understand my fascination with Guttermans, but she accepts that I have to use JoAnnes for that.

Lotsa tent makers in the Bible, and all of them were dudes. If they had amsteel back then, they'd have been Hammock Makers.

Just wait until the girls start asking you to make them dresses, costumes and stuff.... you will not regret your decision when you you find your self in some 'delicate areas' needed for a proper 'fit'.

And to think, I'm trying to figure out how to be more like you guys. I bought a sewing maching awhile back that still sits in the box.

If you get jazzed doing a fitting you are not fitting.... I hear the TSA has openings...
