I'll have to check those out...I like using webbing on my hammocks, but don't like how the Warbonnet buckles can bite into the webbing. I think a pair of rings like the setup above would work nicely, though is probably heavier than stock.

Omega Pacific are the ones that I used. They are thicker and not as harsh on the rope.

There have been problems in the past with supply availability in the past. Seems they've been out of stock for quite a while. Maybe now they have those problems fixed. I like mine but they are undoubtedly older models.

I got the omega pacific rings off amazon. just used them this weekend and worked great.

Those light rings, I purchased a pair from whoopieslings.com for use on my brand new Warbonnet blackbird I'm waiting on.

Do those rings actually hold the weight of a person? I just find it hard to believe, there so light. Also are the slits in them normal?
