    Wider Cuben Tarp??

    Hey Stormcrow and Thorwren,

I know a few of us expressed an interest in a wider cuben tarp for winter time.

Stormcrow mentioned he was going to mess around with it and possibly come up with a design.

Just wondering if you guys had worked that out.... Point being I'm ready to drop some bills on your design

NICE GLP... I'd be interested in seeing the results!

I'm having such trail withdrawal lately for some reason. I went back to my gear sheets and now I'm fiddling with some numbers... the cuben winter tarp is high on the list.

I'm also fiddling with using the traveler as my primary hammock and using a bugnet like the one R00K has... but the shelf is so gangsta on the BB.... ugh decisions decisions. Well at least I planned my next year long distance hike. I just need to plan my November hike.

i was talking with bat- his ideas made sense to me in creating a 3 panel-wide cuben tarp- the weight gain, while existent, is a non-issue for such a large 4-season tarp.

i dunno. just widen the HG design to oh, i dunno, 11-12 feet wide.
what would that add? an oz. or 2?

Yeah I have a 1.1 BB and a Traveler... and a 1.7 BB for a loaner for the Bumble. The traveler is really comfy too. This is what happens when the busy season hits!!!
