    Video: AT Roller Coaster July 30, 2011

    Hiked from Harpers Ferry to just before Rt 7 on Friday, about 21 miles, so I could get up early and video from Rt 7 through to Rod Hollow shelter the next morning. Finished there just before lunch and hike on to 1/2 mile back from Manasas Gap shelter for Sat. night about 22 miles. Sunday I walked into Linden, enjoyed some munchies and got a ride back to my car. Not a bad few days hike despite the heat!

    Not the best video, but wasn't sure how to best show this area of the trail this time of year. Anyway, it was good to get out for a few days.

    Great vid. Whenever I hike the AT in these parts, I always find myself wishing there were rocks on the trail .
