    I told myself I wouldn't

I told myself I wouldn't act like a kid at Christmas when my Blackbird arrived but I just can't help myself. I told myself I wouldn't come to HF first to announce its arrival but I just can't help myself.

    It's here

If anyone needs me, I'll be in the backyard. Thank goodness it's Saturday and I have nothing on my agenda. The sun is shining (for now) and I have a fridge full of ice cold beer!

congrats brother, mine came as well. Unfortunately I live on a military base and have no trees in the yard. I did however string it up between the rails for the garage door just to see it hang. Can't wait to get to the woods.

Thanks, everyone. It's cool to share this enthusiasm with like-minded folks! My co-workers think I'm crazy but I think they are jealous more than anything. They worry too much about what other people think...

I broke in the Blackbird the first night...hangin out in the back yard. I even survived a t-storm. Stayed dry under my BMJ. Just a gentle sway from the occasional gust of wind. Slept wonderfully between claps of thunder. Can't wait to take it on a real camping trip.

    Hang On!
