I was about to place an order with strapworks to get some webbing and I thought to check here. Since so many are now using other suspension systems, I wondered if anyone has any strap suspensions laying around to sell (or trade).

I just saw some webbing at ACE hardware today. Check'em out if you have one.

Thanks. will check em out.
I mean no disrespect to anyone, but used suspension webbing is not something I would want to buy. There is no way of telling what condition the webbing is in except for _major_ issues which I understand no one here would pass on to someone else. But non-visible stress can do interesting things when combined with UV damage. Just a thought to consider. I wouldn't include any used webbing in any hammock I happened to sell because if someone is going to get hurt with it... it's going to be me.
Webbing is cheap enough... don't take chances.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Bobbin Tension - A Personal Viewpoint
I'm on the side of safety as Ramblinrev. But, I have a different view of the material, depending on what it is. The risks from so many sources is greater than from worn seat-belts when someone gets in a car, no matter the mileage.
One reason for that is the design of the belt and the strapping. Another is the design of the belt system.
www.hmsmotorsport.com/docs/FMVSS_209_Specification.pdf
for the full DOT specification, including the testing proceedures for abrasion resistance.
I don't doubt the integrity of the strapping from major vendors which carries with it the single specification of "tensile strength." By which I mean that in a straight pull contest it is good for that rating.
How it performs in and after various buckles and cinches for which it was not designed, whether in a straight-pull test of tensile strength or in an oblique pull is something else. But, if I understand the abrasion-resistance specifications for DOT- spec seat-belt webbing, the stuff that retails for 5 times the price of Strapworks 1" polyester, I'll trust my visual inspection of it.
I trust completely unfrayed, unblemished seat-belt webbing from junker cars. (I'd wash before use.) On environmental degradation to that or any other webbing: that should be the least of one's concerns unless the gear has been exposed to UV for months. Little hammock gear is so exposed. Seatbelt webbing, except in open-cab vehicles is not, even there, the exposure and degradation is minimal
Where I would have no disagreement in assessment of webbing from that of the good Ramblinrev is in ultra-lite stuff. I have some tree straps here that another reputable member sold me new. Short, cool and ultra, as part of a hybrid tree-strap combo with a fixed loop of Amsteel. At 3/4" and a little stiff, it might not fail like cellophane speced for tensile strength and tear. Still, I would never use it with any buckle that might nick it. Who knows what its tear-resistance is?

Further, it would be a good idea for vendors who include webbing or straps to tell more about them beside the length, width, weight, and tensile strength. Those are insufficient specs from which to estimate appropriateness and durability.
Those wishing to know more of what can matter for long-term safety can study the DOT spec in the previous message.
