    where can i get spinnaker fabric??? help

    Also, they have a .5 oz ripstop. Wonder how accurate that is.

    But, ain't none of it cheap.

    Be aware that there seems to be a severe shortage of WATERPROOF spinnaker fabric. It seems that whoever was manufacturing the waterproof version used in tarps a few years ago, is no longer available.

    Fortunately for me, I got a Spinn tarp from Brian at OES back when there was good spinnaker around.

    Also keep in mind that most sites list the weight of the fabric in sailmakers yards which is 36"x28.5" so you have to multiply the weight x 1.263. Also the weights often don't account for any coating.

    I bought some of this. Which according to the calculation from g/sq m to oz/sq yd should be about 1.24oz/ sq yd. But I haven't had time to make anything, confirm the weight or check it's water repellency.

    i don't have Waterproof spinn so if your looking peeps... please don't PM me
    i have reg spinn i will sell for what i paid for it... but it is NOT WATERPROOF
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
