This is an invite to anyone in Ky or surrounding area. I am planning on going on a quick overnighter to Cave Run Lake on August 12th. So if anyone wants to join me just let me kmow. If not I am just going to turn this into a solo trip. I am just going to hit one of my favorite trails down there Caney Loop.

Looking like the weather is going to be semi nice for this trip Friday. Highs in the mid 80's and lows around 60. If anyone wants to meet me down there I will be parking in the Stoney Cove parking lot. The trail is about 8 miles long. I plan on hiking in about 3-4 miles and finding a spot along Caney Creek. If interested Pm me and I give dirrctions. Also unlike the gorge you do not need a parking pass here.
