I will be there Friday, but I don't know about this Forest pass. Is this to park at the trailhead?

I read it was required, and can't comment on that. There is usually a fee $5 or so to park at an improved trail head, you can buy a northwest forrest pass for $30 and it is good for a year, and you don't have to pay at each place. I dont know if there are some that are pass only, maybe someone with more knowledge will clear it up. I just buy the pass unless there is no way you will do the fee type trail heads at least 6 times a year, I know I do that the first month I buy it every year. You also get a sticker for a motorcycle free you just have to ask for it.
I am in Washington and they have a pass system here but does not work in at all the trails and I do not know if it works in Oregon. So many different rules for each pass....
Shacking head.... LOL
All my gear is sorted, bike is serviced, just waiting on my Leighlo top quilt that shipped Monday!!!!!! then I can load my pack.
Gas willing *Fingers Crossed* I will be there very late Saturday night 11-12ish. If someone can spot me a hanging spot earlier in the day and share their bear bag late at night with me they can have a bit of the adult refreshment I am bringing with me. I really don't want to be bumbling around in the middle of the night looking for a spot. I was also thinking about hitting up a trail in the area and staying Sunday night. If anyone wants to join me they are more than welcome. I was thinking about 6-8 miles of hiking Sunday in and 6-8 miles out Monday depending on location.
I will be there Saturday.. Got a friend coming with me.. and maybe my son.. so there's three.. two for sure.
See ya'll Saturday!
