    Hanging in the heat

Anyone that wants to trying hanging in the heat is welcome to come here today. Its 108 degrees and 55% humidity.

I camped this weekend and at 930 pm it was still 92. Used ice water bottles under my shirt to stay cool. Worked ok until the ice melted.

    Gonna be hotter tomorrow.

These temps make for good incentive to make a DIY indoor hammock stand.

Same here, 100 miles south of you.

The best place to hang in Texas (outside) during July/August in in the Panhandle. At least there, it gets down into the 70's at night.

You just have to know where to find the trees.

Yeah, but with the %100 humidity we get here, it still feels like a sauna some days.

Incredible the heat that you're getting. And we thought we had it bad some days!

The sun is actually a few degrees cooler!

But I guess we are even...

I don't know how you can hang in the winter weather that you do. I've heard polar bears shiver at the weather you hang in!

Did my 1st hang on the hottest day of the year (in Ohio). Was about 94 with about 30% humidity. Used just the hammock, but had a few instant ice packs as backup.
