Aug 20-22 1 pm. It would be in E. NY State, Saratoga Co. Moreau state park on the Hudson River. Nothing big, 2 mi paddle to the site, some light hiking maybe, fishing, swimming,....there is a potage trail around the dam for those that want to paddle down stream, town of Corinth is up stream with stores on the river if you forgot some thing.
The plan is to put in upstream from the dam, paddle 2 mi upstream to the site. you do need a boat of some sort, or room in someone else's boat. there is a stream running next to the site. ( I wouldn't drink from the Hudson, even if they do say its safe above the dam) there is a potage trail around the dam for those that want to paddle down stream, town of Corinth is up stream with stores on the river if you forgot some thing.
