Michigan overnight anyone

I'm near I75 and 696 intersection and looking to do an overnight trip, just looking for a quick trip near by, perhaps pickney, pretty much anytime this month is cool.

My GF wants to visit a friend (and I want her manikin) in the haingnail of the thumb? Looks close to you (or at least pinckney)? If we go, she will want to spend a couple days, maybe I can get her to let me go.

Wait, name me a town near pickney. Are you guys talking the town of piNckney, or the state park trail pickney place. I will look up eaton rapids.

the rec area theres a hike in only camp on the trail thats realy great with lots of hanging spots a outhouse and a hand pump for water even a lake if you want to try a bit of fishing. I even know where theres a bit of sassafras for some tea growing near the camping spots.

pinckney rec is just north of Ann Arbor off 23 and a bit west. it's no where near the thumb but she could drop you off and then pick up you up. there is plenty to do at pinckney to kill some time waiting for someone to pick you up.

i've got a trip planned for the 23rd but there might be a change i could shoot out for an over night next friday which would reset my sanity scale.

It's all up to her. And I have no idea when it may happen. I will post up in this thread when it looks close. Speaking of reseting the sanity scale, I am going on a quick overnighter down the tracks tomorrow night. Haven't been out much this year, GF cry's when I go camping.

i'll be happy when i move in six months and i'll have a few trees....i have none right now which is upsetting

pinckney is a nice place to go locally, just make sure you put blind lake on the permitt
