    WBBB on the SHT

Took my blackbird up to the superior hiking trail and i can say it was the best sleep I have ever got on the trail. I can 100% endorse it without any reservation. I hung at bear lake and beaver creek. The Bear lake camp was tricky finding a hang spot. Glad I was able to leave my tarp in skins because getting stakes into the ground far enough to handle any weather would have been problematic at best. I found out quickly how out of shape I am going north to south in section 13.

I had planned to camp one more night at least but my feet were hamburger.

Not going to say for sure but that looks like the same hanging position brother Shug hung his Grizz Bridge on one of his trips

I could be wrong ... I have been before!

I was thinking how hard it would have been to sleep on that ground. Then again, you could tie a guy line around a rock and pile a few more on top to pitch your tarp.

    Nice hike!

    You're right....and I know those rocks too!

On our recent SHT trek, eldest male progeny---quantumcat---hung in that spot (and got a tarp up! We needed it). We had 5 hammocks on that site, that was a trick.

Nice to see familiar looking overlooks again
