I am awfully tempted to join you guys, was convinced car rental rates would be too high from NYC but then found a killer rate from Alamo near Metropark ($90 for a pickup truck for 2 days). So... I'm back squarely on the fence!

    This weekend

Yes, I'm going to make it this weekend. Normally I wouldn't go unless their was a hike involved. I saw the other post for a pre hike and that made up my mind. Not much mention of the pre hike anymore but I'll attend anyway. I'm getting cabin fever. I'll bring something to throw in the dutch oven. What do you guys want, another meal item or a hot desert.

Well, normally, with only a 3 season setup I wouldn't make something like this, but I think I can easily handle a low of 32! I'm in for Saturday mid morning through Sunday. I'll be bring the family for some hiking during the day, but there is no way I would be able to convince the wife to stay through the night.

This is sounding like a lot of fun. I graduate this semester, which means I will be back home in New Jersey next year, which also means I will be at next years NJ winter hang (and maybe others?). Can not wait! I should have my UQ situation taken care of soon, and if next winter is anything like it is this year we wont even need the UQ's!
