So I was looking at Black Bishop bags and the standard tarp on my Hennessy Expedition and I was thinking about the end panels on the Clark hammocks that provide some weather shielding. And the little light bulb came on and I thought, "How about making a conical weather shield that will slip over the suspension and ends of a hammock and have a drawstring in it so it could be used as a Black Bishop bag?" And then I thought, "If you had one on each end, they could be held in place with a grosgrain loop and a bit of cord run parallel with the ridge line." I'm thinking 1.1oz silnylon; you could get all kinds of crazy, but something about 18"-24" deep would help make up for a small tarp in a hurry. Only one would be really useful for storage, but how could you avoid having two
It's getting late and that is all the brain cells I have to share with you for now.
