I had a jacket just like that in Okinawa in the mid-80's. Mosquito's in the Northern jungle area were fierce. We'd soak the jacket in the gov't issued bug juice and go on patrol wearing these. I was wishing earlier this summer on a hike that I still had mine! Thanks for posting. Order being placed today!!

Yeah the lady down the block, on the corner likes to garden - flower garden. The flowers and her body attrack a lot of biting insects. She tried those cloths you toss in the drier and draped them on the temples of her glasses - looked weird and she said they weren't very effective. Then she stopped by REI and got the bug netting thing just for her head. That worked for her head Her remaining problem, she likes to wear short sleeve shirts and shorts while in the garden. Saw her last week and she had one of those suits on. Looks even weirder than the drier cloths, but worked a real well. Didn't ask if it was hotter inside the suit and she didn't say anything - probably preferred the heat to the bugs.
