    +1 on the permethrin treatment. It works and will open up your choices. It's not that the ones you are looking at are bad choices, but you don't have to limit yourself to any one hammock just because of mossies.

    As I mentioned earlier, I have a tarp but I had never planned on how to deploy it. 50' of paracord, 8 stakes , some 4'-6' pcs of small stuff; play it by ear. Now that I've seen how the pros, you guys, do it: It's rigged. I need some shade, wind break, or both, it's ready. This site has given me many ideas, not so much new as less nuts and bolts and more rope.

    Choice is good.
