Thumbs up $20 10x10' Funky Forest Tarp

This hit my radar the today.

    $29.97* for a 10x10' Funky Forest Tarp

    http://www.bargainoutfitters.com/net...?a=476809&pn=1

Some of you were looking for the 12X12 Gear Guide tarp when Bargain Outfitters sold out. This is not the 12X12 Gear Guide tarp. But it looks like a good deal on a 10X10 tarp.

*Sorry I typed the wrong price when I first posted this.

Obmit, Thanks for the catch!!! I typed the wrong price when I first posted this. This is why I longer code weapon systems. You enter the wrong data and remove one little resort island and people hold it against you forever!

Thats a great find. I'd spend a little extra and seam seal it .Iv read that they tend to leak.

It's a good deal anyway and you have to expect a little collateral damage every now and then.

I have one and it makes for a nice big diamond. Quality and workmanship are okay for the money. It is seam taped and it has a ton of tie-outs, including three on the bottom side of the diagonal ridge line.

Like any PU-coated tarp, it is heavy-- 23oz. It would make a good group cooking and dining shelter, etc.

After watching the video below, I found I was mistaken about the ridge line loops-- they rig it hanging from below a continuous ridge line-- I hadn't seen that before.

good find, thanks for sharing... I was looking for something a bit smaller than my Kelty Noah 12x12...

I like grand trunk products, have two of their hammocks...

I went ahead and ordered one, should make a good addition to the collection.

I can live with a 1.25 lbs tarp... it's a 1 lb or so lighter than the kelty ... I like the navy color too, will use this as my warm weather tarp.

They had 68 of them in stock as of 7:45 PM Pacific time...

    price including s&h was $35.96.

there are a bunch of coupon codes out there for free shipping and 20% discounts for $50.00+ orders...
just in case you need other stuff and want to save on s&h.

here is a video of the tarp on youtube by grandtrunk:

ps: use the link above, it takes you to a special page with the $29.97 price otherwise they are advertised as $44.00 on their site.
    Item # for the $29.97 is: B132C-203736

I ordered one of these and just got it in. It's a really good deal. For 30 bucks you get a decent tarp, nothing to write home about but its a good starter tarp.

is there a reason why they have the ridgeline going over the top like that wouldn't having it under the tarp support it better?
