    Lunchhour hang!

Finally some nice summer weather up here this week.

I decided take the hammock to work today and see if there's a couple good trees in the park adjacent to the office that would offer a good lunchhour hang.

    Success!

Two very nice spruce trees offering shade and a light breeze and the water fountain in the background noise.

Ate my sandwich, read my book, got really relaxed and felt better than usual heading back into the office for the afternoon.

Will definately be doing that again.

Oh...I got checked out by the parks maintainance staff. The lady came over to check my hang. I was using straps so I was good to go!

    Have a good one!
    Geoff.

    That sounds awesome!

Last night was decently cooled off here in Chicagoland, so I did a backyard camp out to enjoy the 59F overnight temps with nothing but a down throw and a 3 season Top Quilt in my Blackbird.

I can hardly wait to go home and crash in it again!

    nothing beats it!

i sneak off a few times a week, time permitting, to hop in the hammock and let the pangs of work drift away.

I've considered this a few times myself. Scoped out a few trees just out back. Now I'm inspired to do it!

Many trees located on the property of my work. Lunch time I grab the hammock out of my car and make a bee line for a pair of perfectly spaced trees in an out of the way spot. Got to love the lunch time hangs.

haven't done that lately because of the heat but it's lookin good now. It's a great chance to recharge for the afternoon.
