    Dynaglide Whoopie help

It seems like I pulled the adjustable side of the whoopie through when packing it last. I've never made whoopies. Could someone explain a simple way to fix this. Or, if there is a kind soul out there who would be willing to take a look at it for me, that would be great. I'm not so great when it comes to working with my hands. Hopefully the pictures give you an idea of what I'm talking about. The line in the picture running off to the left is just a long string of line. I think that's what got pulled out/through.

Well I dont know if it would work or not, but you could try sticking something in there and try to push the loop back out instead of pulling it out... something like a crochet needle (blunt end with a hook).

its difficult, but possible. just gotta find where its going into the bury and try prying it out, gingerly.

with dynaglide esp., you run the risk of damaging the fibers... weakening the sling.

a lot of folks are putting a stopper- loop of cordage, bead, tubeing- on the adjustable loop to prevent exactly that.

    good luck

You're not the first. Try picking at it from the loop end with a pointy object like a yarn needle. Proceed slowly and patiently and you'll get. When done, tie a little string loop through the adjustable loop to act as a stopper.

Well after an hour and a half of no progress I think I'm about ready to give up. Nothing seems to be working. I may just have to order another one and burn this one (so I feel better).

Very generous of you Dutch. Thank you. I've sent you a pm. I'll find something to offer on the PIF thread to keep the giving going.
