BPL - Hammock Article

Anyone read this article? BPL - Hammock

I'm not a BPL Member unfortunately.... so I don't have access. I know some BPL members are hammock fans, other (such as this author) are not - claiming added weight - which I think HF members could argue.

I'm curious what is said.

It's an OK article but it's not one of the huge in-depth ones. It's the author's account of one of his first times to ever hang in a hammock; specifically it's a Hennessy Hyperlite with a side zipper. It has the usual table of listed weights vs. actual weights, some pictures, and a table of comparisons to other hammocks on the market.

He hung it somewhere that it had been snowing and was using a 0deg bag and an Exped DownMat 9 for insulation. He uses the stock rainfly attachment method for Hennessy products and he thinks that the tarp is too small. Also he doesn't like snakeskins because they make it weird to put back inside the backpack. He is still young. I think that's about it, but he did say that he liked hanging in it though.
