There you have it.
Without the idea - oldgringo - this would still be a piece of amsteel cluttering my closet (now its a cool looking piece of amsteel cluttering my closet ).
Thank you for proving me wrong. I wasn't picturing it my head right. Tendertoe great job
Looks like a great way to attach a structural ridgeline to a hammock to keep it always on and still be able to use different types of suspensions
make it longer in the middle and you could use it to attach 2 dogs to the same leash.
I made a second pair of Tenderbiners this morning.
I threw a locked brummel after the "tail" exits the bury on both sides (bottom right of the first biner side and bottom left of the second biner side). It makes for a cleaner look.
Here they are -
I updated the specs in the OP.
If you go with locked brummels rather than stopper knots, you may need to tweak the lengths of the loops as 15 inches gives you shackles larger than real handcuffs (the extra inches get eaten up with the stopper knots so, if you decide to go that route, keep them 15 inches).
I also preferred 1 inch between the shackles rather than the 3 inches I suggested in my first pair.
Tweak the dimensions, make a pair, or just ponder why the heck you would ever need a pair.
