    Also of note, particularly those from Australia, I've found the supplied Tree straps that came with the Line/Strap option for the suspension, is way to short for our trees. Wish I had of ordered the Adjustable Suspension with the longer tree straps.

    hey phillip,
    check out a local hardware store and pick up some 15 foot straps that are on the ratchet straps. then simply saw the hook off and you have a nice long strap w/ an eye already attached.

    just jeff (which is where i got my info from) said 700 lb polyester rope.

    i'm not sure if that's working load or max load or what. i do know you'll want 1" width. as far as the poundage goes, i don't have enough knowledge about that subject to give you an answer. maybe someone who does will chime in.
