Greetings all,

Just thought I would say Hi & introduce my self I'm Phil. I live on a small Island in NY

Been having a blast hanging around in my Eagles Nest double deluxe all summer. I am not a camper or a hiker, hope that is not a black mark against me. I have discovered "hanging" & it is my favorite way to relax.

I stumbled onto to this great site after reading an article in popular Mechanics about a hammock stand called "TENSEGRITY".

Anyway as of now I hang between two trees, but I thought it would be cool to be able to hang somewhere else in the yard or by the river.
so I am off to check out your other forums to see what type of stands you folks have discovered or designed.

This is "Hammock Forums".. not specifically 'hammock camping' forums, or 'Must think about hammocks 16 hours per day (and dream about them the other 8 hours) forums... (although some members probably come close). If you love your hammock and want to talk about it, or are looking for ways to enjoy it more, that's more than enough reason for you to grace us with your presence!
