As I type this I am currently enjoying a cool breeze blowing under my tarp. Decided to hang tonight and test out new bug net I whipped together tonight. Got to test new gear afterall.
Will report back after sun up. Goodnight HF.

the back yard can be a great place
Ended up making it a 2 nighter since we had some rain showers and cooler temps last night. Temps were 65*F at 2am and gave me a chance to actually test out my Fleece UQ without sweating to death. It worked out so great I actually overslept this morning.
I love falling asleep to the pitter patter of rain falling on a tarp.

There's no written law that says you can't hang in the backyard.
Since mom passed away in Feb, I've been living with my dad. Every weekend when I can, I put him to bed with his life-alert pendant and sleep outside. The cell phone just inches away. Until he passes or I'm forced to put him somewhere, its all the camping I'll get to do for awhile.

hey Catavarie, i'm glad it worked out well, and extra Zzzz as a bonus!
i'm gonna follow your lead and hang out back tonight after work (10 PM).
i'm already set up and ready to go. this will be the first test for my fleece set up also. projected low of 63*. i can't wait.
A night outdoors in a hammock is a good night indeed, backyard or backcountry. Glad you got out and enjoyed!
