I agree with you both. I few folks stoped by this weekend and that was there feed back also. To me that is it's biggest draw back.
I think it would sell much better in the USA market if they offerd a medium and large model.
Other then that it's made like a swiss time pcs.

    Whats the weight capacity?
Seems like a lot of strings. Do they look like they'll be tangling up on the packin' and settin' up mode? Or can you just cram it in the stuff sack and not worry about it?

For the pod issue. I see replacing the skeeter net with a breathable fabric. Match up the sizes and zip it in place. And perhaps a bottom panel that attaches under the hammock?

Good stuff and thanks for the early review.

Wt. capacity is 300 lbs, I think it could go that, 250 for sure with abuse.

They have snakeskins built in that have snaps to keep them open or closed.
When you use them and then snap the carbineers together to store I see no problem with line tangle.

With the well sized pad pouch under one self with zipper acces on both ends
for easy placement I see no problem for under insulation if a DAM mat is used.
I think as you suggest replacing the the sketter net would work well.

I found his update on the hammock. This looks like a sweet gathered end hammock. here are links for both the hammock and tarp setup.

I saw this in MN at the Frozen butt hang. This is an awesome piece of gear. Fourdog showed me the tarp, too, and it has all kinds of ways to set it up.

It also looked like it had a really nice flat lay. Made me jealous!

Could you sleep on your stomach in this hammock, I wonder?
