I read the excellent sticky re TQs. But is there a thread explaining the origami behind a footbox? I am interested in a permanently sewn footbox and one that is fastened in some way with suppers velcro etc.
I think I prefer a non-sewn footbox so the TQ can also be a blanket.

No origami to it. A footbox is simple. The foot end of your TQ is bunched together to close it off. Then a section of the edge from the bottom of the quilt up is sewn or Velcro to close it off and rap your feet in warm goodness.

Personally, I like a small footbox, and then added omni-tape and a small toggle to the TQ, so I can have it long or short...
