Bug net options for a double nest

I want to try a double nest but need to know what options there are for bug protection.

Should I just use a head net with my sleeping bag?
Or hang a bug net from a ridge line?
Is the ENO net very good?
What is the lightest and smallest option? lots of bug where I am.

I've got the guardian bug net, but haven't had the occasion to use it yet. When I was out for two nights last week bugs biting my ankles during set-up were a bigger issue than bugs while sleeping.

The Guardian Bugnet works great, but it is a bit heavy for some folks.

You can always make a DIY bugnet on the cheap. I used two of the campcot bugnets from Coghlans that I got at Academy for around $10 each. I cut the seam from the bottom to the top of the bugnets, then I cut out the top section. This gave me two long pieces of netting that I hand sewed together, then draped over the ridgeline. Once I figured out what length I would need I cut off the excess.

dp hammocks has a torso length. Under 1 ounce and I think $9.95. Works good enough when there are bugs about. Just sayin.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

ENO Guardian Bugnet is well built and heavy. It is roomy as well.

I don't like it at all if I am hanging a UQ. The way it zips vertically makes it aggrevating to get the quilt hung and positioned. You kind of have to stand outside and stick you head inside to work on the UQ.

I don't like hanging on it's own ridgeline because my hammock has one already. This does make it more roomy inside than one hanging on my hammock's ridgeline. It also takes a little experience to get the hammock straps on the tree, the ridgeline on the bugnet, and the ridgeline on the tarp in the correct postion so they minimally interfere with each other.

Anecdotal stories from the one person I know with the ENO Guardian says he finds it frustrating with the zipper, and it generally drags on the ground, he steps on it an finds that annoying.

I exclusively use gathered-end hammocks, with a ridgeline. For the past five years I've simply draped a piece of Coghlan's mosquito netting across the top. I use a small office binder clip to secure it. (I did treat it with permethrin, too.)

Light, flexible, easy, low-cost, no fuss, no worries, no bugs.

Par Si Vis Pace Para Bellum, what does this mean? I know Para Bellum is latin and means (for war) just not sure about the rest, doesn't Pace translate to peace?

I have slept in my hammock in really buggy areas. The Permithrin that I treat my hammock with kept 99% off of me. Then I just pull my fleece blanket over the area above my head leaving the peak above my head open. No bugs of any type bit me. Now when I got up for coffee, I had to spray up before I got the Jetboil going. But the net won't help you there either.

I have the guardian and it works well, but air circulation is poor. It does help in the winter time as an outer skin for warmth
