I never had a problem with the straps or hipbelt.... my problem was changing the design mid-way thru the project.... which is why planning is crucial.

Yeah I did that too and I had a pattern.

If you have never put one together its probably best to start with a pattern.

I think the G4 pattern is free and its out there somewhere.
