sclittlefield of http://www.diygearsupply.com just announced he has aluminized nylon... it's not breathable, though...

+1 on thr tarp cloth, but depending on your weight, fabric about 50g/sm will hold just fine. I'm 200# and I have a 1.1oz/sq yd hammock (lighter than 50g/sm) and it is wonderful fabric. Cost here in the states is $3.20/yd. I wonder if Scott from the website above could ship to you cheaper than you can get the fabric locally...

He has Silnylon 2nds for $5/yd, and 1.1 ripstop in OD green or Camo. The OD green is really slick, and feels good, the camo is really wide at 68". (Slept last night like a baby in my DL camo from that fabric.)

The above pic is DL 1.1 camo fabric, #3 zipper, tech line (ridgeline) all from diygearsupply. The tarp is a minimalist tarp made from his black silnylon 2nds.

above is a TQ I made from the OD green fabric and fleece.

    Regards,

    John

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll ask him. But my guess is that me being in Sweden will add quite a lot to the price with shipping, VAT and customs. But it's absolutely worth an email.
I'm at 85 kg (around 190 lbs), so that would be enough for me as well.
