    lowe's and home depot brands do not soften when washed ONLY TYVEK does. don't waste your money on the knock-offs.

    Just go to a lumber yard and ask them if you can take some of theirs. Almost all lumber comes in Tyvek and most places throw it out.

    i know you got what ya need but arrowhead has it by the foot. arrowhead it's 3' roll though.

    DO NOT use fabric softener, according to reports it seems to break down the bonds between the fibers. I wouldn't even use detergent, maybe a small amount of something very mild.

    To "soften" tyvek I suggest stuffing it in the drier on no heat and throwing a few tennis balls in with it.
